FAQ: Frequently asked questions
1. Why is it profitable to buy a car specifically in Korea?
Korea has a very developed car maintenance culture, and the roads are in excellent condition. You get a car with richer equipment than on the European or domestic market, with verified mileage and at a price 20 to 30 percent lower than the market price in your region.
2. How can I be sure of the car technical condition?
We work only with trusted dealers and auctions. Before purchase, our inspector performs a full diagnosis. If hidden defects are discovered during the inspection, we recommend rejecting the lot and continue the search.
3. How long does the full turnkey process take?
On average, the process takes from 4 to 7 weeks. This time includes search (about a week), purchase, document processing, sea delivery, and customs clearance.
4. What additional expenses should I expect?
The final amount that we calculate at the first stage already includes the auction fee, our services, logistics, and customs. No hidden commissions arise during the process.
5. Are there any restrictions on the age of the car?
It is most profitable to import cars aged 3 to 5 years, because they are subject to the lowest customs duties. However, we can also select newer or older models upon your request.
6. How does the payment process work?
Payment is made in several stages: the invoice (the car cost and export expenses in Korea) is paid through the bank, and customs duties are paid upon the car arrival in the country.
